Our Commitment to Safety
The purpose of our robotics team is to learn applicable skills, make new friends, and have fun. Safety Dale, our safety mascot, gives us a fun and memorable way to express our care for wise use of tools and technology in a way that will help people to remember to be safe and use protection.
Safety Dale's Legacy
Safety Dale's origins reach back to the 2019-2020 robotics competition. He is constructed of a foam ball from the game, workshop headphones, a paper mustache, and sick shades. He was made by ARGS alumnus Raleigh Norris, who in a jolt of creativity gave us our most iconic team member. His purpose is to promote precautionary measures and the use of safety materials. His arch-nemesis is Danger Dan... the embodiment of hazard and risk.
